Hi there! I'm a person!!

I've been around the block a while. I like to write, draw, and make music. Namely, DA is where I want to keep a lot of my TF-related art, whether that's drawings or writings.

If you want to talk trades or commissions, you'll probably need to be a good buddy of mine or a mutual to get anywhere with that! I don't do requests, and my art is pretty slow all things considered.

I've taken up a number of classes on literature and I'm pretty close to graduating JC. I aim to get my scrawny ass into a university so I can better myself as a writer and, well, an enthusiast of language in general -- I'm more linguistics than literature, but eh. I'll write fanfics anyway and keep trying to get better. And study big words on the side!

I'm into fantasy/sci-fi-style transformation! Bit of a rabbit hole, that one. While there's a lot of the transformation element to my stories, I'd like to think that I give both the TFs and the actual story equal grounds of love and care. I don't do much sexualization in TF, but I'm open to the idea -- a lot of my content has its kinks, but it stays in the SFW department. That said, transformations in my story get weird as heck, but it serves as a major development point for the character, and is never a one-off thing -- characters transform, and they get more story. It's interesting that way!

I pride myself on entertaining character interactions that depend not only on dialogue, but communication through senses and even the slightest actions, which, hey, apparently speak louder than words. Good stuff. I aim to make dialogue believable, but I try to make a character's perception of the world fantastical and big. I'm cautious with tone, even to the point of giving single words their own paragraph space just to separate one tone from another. I also like to think the "shape" of the literature matters; it should be appealing to the eye -- well, as such as text can get. I can be a bit too fond of fluff and purple prose, but I try to justify it by using a character's point of view -- first person perspective is my jam. I love putting wild and colorful characters into a realistic world and letting them take it for a ride, having 'em develop and grow.

Sometimes, I'll draw these characters or commission them, since my art is, eeeeh, it's okay. As for character designs, I like to try and avoid base recolors and just start with something fresh and new from the ground up. If there are recolors, they'll have a reason for being that way, which I aim to have lore imply or, as a last resort, expose through... uh, exposition I guess. I'm still trying find a comfortable spot within the "show don't tell" region.

...Or just catch up on gaming. Or go out with friends and family, have a drink or two, put some food in me, etc. Human things! You know, after COVID goes away!

There you have it. Nothing flashy -- I don't know if/think political/religious stances belong here. Shows my naiveté. I mean, shit me, this is the internet. Eh, nah, not here. I'm here to write and check out some of the artsies.
